Pastry and Parfait

Last pic before bed, I was going to wait to put this up but I drew holiday card with Pastry on it so I may as well post this. Then again it doesn't matter since I still have a shit ton of pics from work to post still.

So here is Pastry the scarecrow golem, he was built by Parfait's mom to watch over Parfait's pumpkin patch & to keep Parfait himself safe, he's also usually taking care of Parfait due to his uncle being busy as mayor. He was built 2 years before Parfait was born(though hadn't woken up until Parfait was a couple months old) & hasn't grown nor changed since(as in what you see is how he looked when he was created), Pastry has been doing his caretaker/guard job for as long as he & Parfait can remember. Due to being a scarecrow, not really having a life of his own, constantly doing his job & wanting to keep Parfait safe Pastry hasn't really believed himself able to have emotions, feelings or any needs such as food.

While he doesn't need food he can eat it however he's unaware of his ability to have emotions & feelings(like the fact he wants to protect Parfait), he can easily become pissed especially if you hurt his pumpkins or Parfait. He also despite not having a life of his own is happy with his life mostly due to Parfait being there for him & kind of sharing his own adventures with the scarecrow. Pastry is also unaware of the fact he loves this shy dragon/demon though as time goes on he is semi aware & wonders if a scarecrow like him can really do more.(Such as be Parfait's loving mate)

Pastry can often be seen at the pumpkin patch, standing guard over it while Parfait hangs around with him. It's not really due to Pastry watching over him(he's able to leave whenever he wants) but because he cares about him.
